The Use of HDMI Cable

Generally speaking, the HDMI cable can be divided into three sizes: full size, cable micro size, and mini HDMI cable. They come to different applications.

HDMI Cable Full Size(Standard)

This hdmi wire is used for any uncompressed TV or PC video format, including standard, enhanced, high-definition, and 3-D video signals.
 

Micro HDMI Cable

The micro hdmi offers HD viewing support for the connection of small portable equipment and devices including GoPro action cameras, SmartPhones, small video recording devices, and portable media players.

Mini HDMI Cable

Although the mini HDMI cable is much smaller than the standard HDMI wire, it still has the same 19-pin configuration as the standard HDMI cable has. Because of its mini size, mini hdmi could be widely compatible with small size digital devices, such as digital video cameras, portable PCs, and other mobile devices.
